KeepOlim's Special Historical Event at the Knesset and just Wow! Over 100 of you from all backgrounds came out and supported KeepOlim as we shared our stories, successes and troubles facing Olim in Israel and honored a number of outstanding Olim in the process. Many Knesset members came and voiced their support for us as well including Dr. Avraham Neguise who is one of the leaders of our non political Lobby in the Knesset and Tzipi Livni and Pnina Tamano-Shatato name just a few. The event was led by MK Ksenia Svetlova who leads our Lobby in the Knesset and she did an outstanding job of organizing our event.
One of the more emotional moments came from the father of Hamas hostage Ethiopian Israeli Avera Mengistu who said to us if his son had mental heath counseling in his native language Amharic his son would not be in Gaza today. That is why KeepOlim is so important and the work we do is so important! We are standing up for All Olim!! Our low cost subsidized Mental Health Program will debut next month with Support Groups in the native languages of our immigrants.
KeepOlim started with one frustrated Oleh, me and look what happened. We are over 41,000 Olim strong from over 100 countries!! We are a force to be reckoned with as we tackle the problems of our immigrants one at a time.

Margaret Ann Becker To KOIM and Liami. Many thanks for setting up the business information evening in Jerusalem. This is a vast topic and Michael Horesh gave a clear overview of what is required to succeed in your own business in Israel. Now we need to connect, do and learn as we go along.
Raziel Baruch Thanks to LiAmi Lawrence for arranging the workshop in Jerusalem last night and to Michael Horesh for the very informative presentation
