Our Mission

The purpose of KeepOlim is to empower, inspire, and support Olim (new immigrants to Israel and returning citizens) through post-Aliyah programs and services. We foster a strong sense of community and advocate for Olim to successfully integrate into Israeli society during life after Aliyah.

Who We Are

We are a diverse group of new immigrants, returning citizens, and native Israelis working together to keep Olim in Israel.

We are grateful to be living in Israel and strive to contribute to a greater and stronger Israel. Olim built this country and a strong foundation of Olim will make Israel a stronger and better country for us all. We who come from Europe, North, South, and Central America, Africa, Asia & Australia make up the beautiful diversity of our amazing homeland. We are “Am Echad” – One People!

KeepOlim was founded in May 2015 by Tal Ekrony, a native Israeli, who did not want his friend LiAmi Lawrence, a new immigrant, to leave Israel due to lack of employment and support. Lawrence himself was alarmed at how many of his Olim friends were leaving Israel for the same reasons. Together, the two friends created a Facebook group to gain support. The group ballooned overnight and Lawrence became the pied piper for Olim.

KeepOlim grew to over thousands of members in a matter of days, and has become the Voice of Olim from around the world.
